His story
Pastor Paul Harvey is a devoted servant of Christ with over 30 years of experience in pastoral ministry and Christian education. His journey in ministry began with a strong foundation in biblical studies, and he was ordained on May 14, 1995 at First Baptist Church of Spring Valley, California.
In August 2013, Pastor Harvey joined Countryside Baptist Church in Port Washington, Ohio. He served as Assistant Pastor until May 2018, then as Intern Pastor until October 2018, when he was called to serve as Senior Pastor. Under his leadership the church has continued to grow in faith and fellowship, with a strong emphasis on biblical teaching and community outreach.
Pastor Harvey married Joanna in 2002, and together they are blessed with three children: Daniel, Caleb, Abigail. His ministry is marked by a deep commitment to biblical teaching, pastoral care, and Christian education.

Taught History and Bible, oversaw the Yearbook, counseled students, and drove the bus. Also taught night classes as a professor at Landmark Baptist College in 2001–2002.

Joined Countryside in August 2013 and served as Assistant Pastor until May 2018, then as Intern Pastor.
